Carl Rogers

The Good in All of Us

Introduction

The next series of pages are dedicated to the study of theorist Carl Rogers and his Humanistic approach to psychology. Rogers’ valuable contributions to psychology make him an enriching subject of interest. The distinctive feature behind Rogers’ thinking is the fact that he believed in the good in all of us. His Humanistic approach to psychology is unparallel. Rogers is responsible for the creation of one of the most predominant techniques employed in clinical psychology, that is, client-centered therapy. We dedicate the next series of pages to this influential and charismatic figure, whose contributions to psychology render this social science part of its merit.
