Creating a Web Site with Dreamweaver was completed during the Fall Semester of 2001 as a project for EDTE 281: Tools and the Curriculum. It was the initial derivation of what became the action research project for Kathryn Odell and Jan Valine. During this first endeavor, we were interested in strategies to encourage teachers to integrate technology into the curriculum. We hypothesized that one step toward this goal would be teaching them how to create web sites for their classes. To investigate this idea, we created a problem-based learning activity that incorporated lessons in how to use the DreamWeaver web authoring program.
