Bonnie Drumwright's ePortfolio

I dedicate this page to my father, Bob Drumwright, who was a photographer, filmmaker and lifelong learner. He had a tremendous influence on me and I am perpetually grateful for the many gifts he gave me. The picture on the left is of my father when he was happily engaged in what he loved to do the most. I guess you could say, I am a chip off the old block! The links below will take you to short clips from movies I created in the past 16 months using the iMovie program. I saved them as QuickTime web files of about 30 seconds in duration. The first movie was actually originally shot by my father when I was only a few months old. Many years ago, he transferred it to VHS. This summer, I imported it to iMovie and edited it digitally. Recently, I added sound for fun. It is my favorite clip due to the content and has the best resolution due to the high quality of the original footage filmed by my Dad in 16mm. The other movie vignettes below include Excel Basics, Hawaii, a Tribute to Dad, and Scenes from My Life. I completed 10 movies as of 1/12/03. I am able to burn them onto DVDs using my Macintosh computer and the iDVD program. Learning how to do this has been extremely gratifying. As indicated in the Professional Goals section of my ePortfolio, if I had the chance to live my life over, I would be a filmmaker. But, I guess, come to think of it, I am a filmmaker! As a service to future iMET students, full length versions of the movies I made related to iMET such as an Excel and an Endnote tutorial are available online.
