Nothing about teaching gives me more satisfaction than seeing the concrete manifestations of my efforts in the work created by my students. I am a highly project based teacher and even before iMET, I always included projects as part of the class. Now, the projects are more group oriented, problem based and include ample time to practice and prepare. Most of the work you see on these sites was completed by students who never created a single web page until they encountered activities in my class such as Who is Sigmund Freud or Personality WebQuest. From this page, you can link to examples of web sites my students have created. The first link is to a site on Spinal Cord Injury created by a student in Psychological, Social and Medical Aspects of Disability class, a graduate class in Rehabilitation Counseling. The next links are to sites created by students in my Personality Theories course this semester (Fall 2002). One site concerns the personality types of Cult leaders, another is on Albert Bandura and finally, there is one on Multiple Intelligence featuring Howard Gardner. |
